Climb up the fence, perch on the top and jump across. Pretty clever little suckers.

My last kitty ran along the top rail of a hurricane fence like it was flat ground, she learned it from her buddies the squirrels who lived in our trees. She would also prance back and forth on the 1" edge of a 1x6 that was the backing of a bench we had in the yard, she did this never looking to see where her feet were, it was like a soldier on patrol. Cats are amazing.
