(1,406 posts)Mr. shill talks about certain companies and the amount of traffic they have, but we do not charge Fed-Ex by the number of trucks they have on the road. Then mr. shill hit the "the company has to pay for infrastructure". Who paid for all the R&D? We did the U S tax payer.

(12,882 posts)WHO owns the airwaves???? I thought the FCC was the public's servant. I thought WE owned the airwaves!
Someone here on DU pointed out that Congress did not designate the Net as "Public Good", not sure of the technical term. This opened the door for this ruling. Our FCC did not do us any favors though. It was pointed out that their oral arguments were weak and terrible and would not hold traction.

"they say the people own the airwaves -- can we put that old conundrum aside? The people don't own the airwaves. Rupert Murdoch owns the airwaves. The people own a Magnavox."

(205 posts)at Fox News and Sheppard Smith for once telling the head on truth. I've Not heard any truer story since Judge Napalitano did his "what if ?" piece that got him fired. Fox News Calling out Corporate shllls to their faces.... I Dig that. The Guy had no answer except "if you can't afford it then you don't deserve it". If only Fox was this fair and balanced on all the issues.
