And even more insidious, we have so called 'democrats' such as Dianne Feinstein- who has a husband who's heavily involved in the MIC- who defends every damned thing the NSA does. Like Aunt Bea from hell.

I got news, y'all- Edward is gettin' high praise--

"The massive leak by the former contractor has divided America’s political class, with some calling Snowden a traitor and the reporters accomplices. But top media institutions have generally rallied around the reporting, and the George Polk Award — expected to be given to Greenwald; filmmaker Laura Poitras; the Guardian’s Ewen MacAskill; and the Washington Post’s Barton Gellman — reflects the broad support among journalists for reporting the revelations about the scale of American domestic and international surveillance.
The Polk award will also be a direct rebuke to critics of Greenwald who have accused him of trading on Snowden’s secrets for personal gain."

There's several types of deniers who refuse to realize that Mr. Snowden is the game changer of their entire lifetimes...
1) You can't deal with a corrupted government.
2) You deny anything truly bad has happened, because you voted for him.
3) You are here to tamp down any dissent, either ignorantly or by payment.
4) Serving 'your betters' is built into your genes (jeans?) and you can't deny your impulses to adore authority.
5) I don't have a five- it's my favorite number, so sue me.

I've been reading Glenn for a very long time and one thing is that he is- is that he is consistent. He doesn't kow tow to power or what ever party is sucking the life out of us. Those of you that used to cheer when he took down Bush Jr. shouldn't be so hypocritical when the opposite isn't doing the opposite. Just the same, different banner. The funniest defense is Glenn's 'just in for the fame'... isn't everyone? Jealous beotches. Earn it, like real journalists do.
First edit- thank you, Ko Ko. Kudos.

All you have to do is pledge an oath of one kind or another and then break it. However, it is far more difficult to be a patriot. A patriot puts his life and liberty on the line for his fellow man. He decides that he has to fight, in whichever form his fight takes, to ensure that some powerful entity does no more harm to his people. It seems though that it is always up to the powerful entity, at the time, to decide which he may be, traitor or patriot. However, history decides determined by whether he wins or loses.

BUT....SOMETHING IS WRONG...with what we are seeing here in the USA these days going down "the wrong road."

So, those of us who see this seem like "Outliers"....but, in the end, I think we are the VISIONARIES!

But...that remains to be seen.
