corporate Democrat (so far).

The progressive is an Asian American male, and the corporatista is a white woman.

The gender and race could be switched and it would affect few people's votes.

Just glancing at each biography, it appears to me that most of the Consgressmembers had experience in either government or say on the board of a college except for a couple of the women. One woman had experience in labor union work.

I disagree with the premise of this video. I think that most of the members, nearly all of the members of Congress who come from Los Angeles had some sort of previous government experience. Most had previously served in an elective office.

I don't think Sandra Fluke's decision not to run until she had at least some experience at the state or local level at least on a school board is not unusual.

She has plenty of time left. Losing an election costs a lot of money and is disheartening. She will eventually fulfill her dreams and be great in Congress if that is what she wants.
