They shouldn't be interchangeable.
Remember what a fuss there was when Fox News showed footage of the protest at the Wisconsin State Capitol a few years ago and there were palm trees in the background?
Why do people play so fast and loose with the facts? Don't they matter any more?
Is this the legacy of unreal "reality TV" and "spontaneous" flash mobs that obviously have multiple camera setups and have clearly been staged?
I fully support any protest against Citizens United and its descendants, but I support the truth even more so.

'The man interrupted proceedings in the patent case by shouting slogans like "Money is not speech," "Corporations are not people" and "Overturn Citizens United."

The man, identified as Noah Newkirk of Los Angeles, California, was protesting the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission ruling which cleared the way for increased independent corporate and union spending during federal elections.

Police officers removed Newkirk after a brief scuffle. He has been charged with violating a law that prohibits "loud threatening or abusive language" in the Supreme Court building, a court spokeswoman said.'

The date is wrong, and today's oral arguments had nothing to do with Citizen's United or anything related.
On the other hand, the oral arguments on Oct. 8, 2013 did have something to do with campaign financing.
Someone may have been tossed out of the SCOTUS today, so someone else recycled footage from October.
Whatever works, I guess. The truth is squishy and flexible.

There are three different time stamps on the video and the one for the outburst has the wrong date.

Three different videos put together: one of the past oral argument and two of today's outburst.

Makes perfect sense.

an outburst and a detention. The person wanted to make a point about Citizen's United, and McCutcheon concerns related facts and is now pending before the Court.

No footage from October here. The truth is not flexible, but facts may confuse.

-snip-

Such outbursts are rare.

Court officials say the last time it happened was eight years ago, during an oral argument over a federal law restricting a certain type of later-term abortion procedure.

There are three different time stamps on the video.

I think the part from today (Wednesday), the outburst part, has the wrong time stamp date on it.

The shaky, low-quality video, just over two minutes long, shows a brief disruption that occurred in the courtroom during an oral argument in a patent case. It also appears to show video taken at a separate oral argument, held last October 8 in a campaign-finance dispute, McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission, that has yet to be decided.

Wouldn't it be impossible to get 50 random strangers to suddenly start dancing to some classic 80's song, which some other random stranger just happened to blast through a portable sound system, while three random videographers accidentally taped, all simultaneously and spontaneously?

Very interesting site and strategy! It appears some people are actually refusing to accept the current election system that is controlled by the wealthy, and will be using a distributed network of activists practicing non-violent civil disobedience to bring about the reforms the system refuses to allow. I had not heard of them before, perhaps this will gain traction.

how "Kafkaesque" this is, how many average citizens (poor like me) would know what I am referring to?
Our education system, especially concerning governmental abuses (which have been written about for decades, especially when it concerned futuristic possibilities and/or other counties) have been gradually erased from our everyday lexicon.
Especially now that America has become one of the worse oppressors of justice and human rights.

"They" have succeeded in ingraining the "slave mentality" on Americans even after the civil rights revolution of the '60's.
Instead of imposing this mentality on minorities, it is now imposed on the majority ... the poor.

The post that referred to "Idiocracy" was on the money except TPTB still retain knowledge and use it against us.
