Related: About this forumMike Malloy - Paul Cameron & Mark Levin: Extremely Hateful Anti Gay Rhetoric
The chairman of the Family Research Institute suggested the death penalty may be appropriate for sexually active LGBT people.
Dr. Paul Cameron discussed his views Tuesday on The David Pakman Show about the recent anti-homosexuality laws passed in Uganda.
Im not advocating the death penalty, Cameron said. Im saying Im open to it, depending on what the legislature of a given country decides.
Cameron, who was expelled from both the American Psychological Association and the American Sociological Association under an ethics investigation, refused to outline how he might hypothetically implement such a punitive law.
But he willingly provided his reasoning for why he might support putting LGBT people to death.
One must understand those who act on their homosexual desires or interests usually end up being parasites on society, and parasites that are very dangerous for society, not only because they take far more than they contribute to society, but they particularly injure children, Cameron said.
Also, Conservative radio host Mark Levin on Tuesday argued that same sex-marriage should be illegal because it impacted society much like incest.
On Levins Tuesday radio show, a libertarian-leaning caller observed that LGBT people deserved equal protection under the law and should be able to get married.
How about polygamists? Are they entitled to equal protection under the law? Levin asked. Just answer the question, pal. There are no limits or there are limits. Where do you draw the line?
Thats not equal protection because youre not talking about one spouse, the caller noted. As somewhat libertarian, it is difficult to draw the line. As long as somebodys behavior doesnt directly affect me, why should I dictate what they do?
After hanging up, Levin said that the callers principle about not dictating other peoples behavior was a good general rule except when it came to same-sex marriage.
If everybody in society smokes pot, is that a problem? Does that affect you? If everybody in society takes heroin Im using extreme examples just to address an extreme point, he said. We have all kinds of criminal laws some of them good, some of them bad that may not affect you, but does affect society as a whole.
Ill give you an example to be as clear as I can, Levin continued. What if an individual decides to have sex with a close relative? And what if its both agreed to, they both agree to it?
Lets say a father with a daughter. I know its grotesque, Im just making a point. Im not saying a minor either. With an adult daughter. Does that affect you? Does that affect society? Is that something where we should turn the other way and say, Hey, look, theyre two adults, let them do what they want? I say that affects society in a big way.

It's as if they make no distinction between anything. They don't seem to understand what is the difference between consenting adults and anybody else.
