Before it's too late, I hope the American people wake up and realize how blatant lies are being used to sell this thing.

As a Canadian borne citizen, there isn't a day that goes by, that I wish, this issue would just go away. But it won't! Let's face it! Democracy, alone, won't help us here. What is needed is a new way to look at ourselves. That's all folks!

It's very unfortunate, but this nightmarish monster of reality is here to stay.

Why?

It's because we created the needs for Oil Exploration. Nobody else did it to us! We alone demanded too much of our natural resources, too fast, and too soon.

That's right folks, we alone created this ugly monster! We made it, bit by bit, a richer and a more powerful enemy. What is worst, is that we did it without realizing the consequences.

Slowly at first, but there wasn't a day gone by, that we couldn't stop ourselves from bragging about our materialistic possessions. We just had to get the latest of everything, and be proud of it. We simply loved the Rich and Famous, too much!

Consequently, as years went by, this man-made monster grew bigger and sexier. Until it became unstoppable. Until it became too demanding. Until our lifestyles became in serious jeopardy! Until it became too threatening for us to do anything about it.

Now, our economies are all suffering! Bubbles, made of dreams, are exploding! No one is safe, and danger is everywhere.

What's worst, the ocean tides are blackening! The sky is grey! The air, we breath, is seriously polluted! The fresh water, we drink, is rapidly becoming toxic. The world's climates are unrecognisable and menacing. Soon, there won't be enough food to feed the world's populations!

In short, crisis and emergencies are the order of the day.

It's our fault, and nobody else! We did it to ourselves!

It's our fault if we were too arrogant to take notice of its ferocious greedy appetite.

Just a short while ago, we all thought, we could control it. We thought, we could tame it, and mould it to our lifestyles. We simply had convinced ourselves that we could use it to boost our egos to get anything we ever wanted.

But, we were dearly mistaken! It is now controlling us, and it won't stop until it is too late to safe humanity on this planet.

Do you know, what's sad about it? It's when there was still something we could have done to stop it, we simply choose to ignore it.

Do we still remember VP, Al Gore's message? Probably, NOT! Why? Oh yes, I remember now: Main stream Media had too fun burying him deep in ridicules and contempts.

How is this even possible, you may ask?

Is it really our fault? Who can we blame, other than ourselves!

Nobody! Finger pointing games won't work here, unless we point them to ourselves.

What can we do, then? Is it really too late?

Is there anything anybody can do about it?

Well, now, you are asking!

Yes, there is still time.

Here is where I think we could start: The solution is in our hearts and minds. It's that simple, folks!

If the power to create this ugly monster came from within us, then the power to destroy it will also come from within us.
