Thom Hartmann: The Failed Libertarian Experiment in Chile

The libertarian experiment failed in Chile, and now Chileans have, once-and-for-all, said goodbye to the religion of Reaganomics.

Which in this case is not supporting the fascist in the Ukraine....because if you are not with them then you are with Putin...the dichotomy is always there.

The new Ukrainian gov't is a coalition of parties. One of the parties has fascist roots. This does not equal a fascist gov't. For example, a Jewish man is in a high-level position in the new gov't.

8. So a little fascism is OK then.

And I am sure the German people felt the same way in the 30s when the Fascist won only a small part of the election...18% of the votes...that did not mean a fascist government then did it?
The problem with the fascist is they don't give a fuck about democrocy...they will take power whenever and wherever they can.

But sure make it about Putin...because our government wants the fascist to win and Putin is as good a boogie man as we have to distract away from the facts.

10. if you're going Godwin then start talking about Russia invading its neighbors

because it wants Greater Russia the same way Mr. H did.

Your post reveals total ignorance of ruling party coalitions in Europe, BTW

You support 20-year leader Putin's invasion of a sovereign nation with the excuse that the nation has a certain party in it?

But the Crimea was a part of Russia for a long time,...and the only warm water port they have is in the Crimea...so they have national security interest to protect... and most there are ethnic Russian living in a country that now has a fascist movement intent on kicking them and the Jews out...so Putin has an excuse to invade unlike us invading Iraq.

Your reasoning is hypocritical.

Ukrainian Jewish Committee: Russian claims of anti-Semitism in Crimea are lies, propaganda

And you are actually defending the invasion of a sovereign country because of warm water.

What form of government do you favor? Because it's obviously not democracy. You don't seem to care about human rights or national sovereignty. Just be honest, you think some form of dictatorship and might-makes-right (with little excuses to go along) is the way, right?

14. The Crimea are mostly ethnic Russians.

So to say there is no problem with anti semitics is to say that the ethnic Russians are not the problem...that is not the case in the west where there at least two parties that are clearly anti semitic and make no bones about it.

And I support democrocy...and this coup was against a democratic elected government...so I would ask you the same question...you can't support democracy and be for a coup against it when it does not go the way you want it to.
