Mike Ruppert killed himself today. He was one of the bravest and best informed critics of government wrongdoings at the highest levels.
Here he is doing what we wish most reporters would do.

(396 posts)His was not an easy life. I first came across Mike Ruppert's work right after 911 when the Christian Science Monitor linked to his 911 timeline. It was an amazing piece of research. Needless to say, many of the questions that Mike brought up directly afterwards have never been addressed (like the put options on the US airlines involved).
He was an early player in Peak Oil. He knew & tried to get the word out. He had understandings & knowledge that would have killed other members of our species long before it got him.
Mike's courage & love of truth distinguished him from those who opposed him.
May there be other's to follow! We need them!
RIP Ruppert.

(39,405 posts)Voices like Amy Goodman of Democracy Now and Mike Ruppert were offering explanations of events that at least made some kind of sense while the "sensible center" was selling us a hatful of shit that wouldn't pass muster as the script for a Steven Segal movie.
Even now, damn near everything we are told about foreign policy is predicated on lies.
Fifty years from now, what Ruppert said will hopefully be what history acknowledges and what our government and the MSM said will have as much credibility as saying we killed Native Americans because we were trying to Christianize them and/or they were a threat to us.

(45,251 posts)that I happened to notice for the first time this morning, clicked on about three and said welcome.
I did not know any of them and did not google any of them, and did not read the OP's, just said welcome.
Leave it to you to keep trying and trying to make that sound heinous, when you know better.
Happy Truth Day.
