And it's really good protection against the vindictive fools and cheerleaders of the National Surveillance State.

I'm GLAD that he didn't insult Greenwald (like most of MSM) and a short as the clip is ...He DID TRY! I never hear...was Greenwald or anyone associated with these revelations INVITED to appear on David Gregory with Meet the Press? Or, how about Charlie Rose or even Faux News.

I don't watch any of that Cable Shit and only got this Link and Video from "Common Dreams" Website which is Lefty.

No wonder America is Dumbed Down. Don't blame the People but MAINSTREAM MEDEA for them being uninformed watching the "Duck Boys" and whatever after they are working two and three jobs and just getting along with Scraps of the "American Dream."

Anyway...it was the best interview we could expect from CNN ....at least they interviewed him at all.

propaganda. Anything you see there must be double-checked with more credible sources. We don't have a 'news' media, we don't have investigative journalists, we are not a democracy and won't be until we restore some semblance of a free press.

I don't blame the people, but I do blame anyone who does have access to other media, which most people now have, for continuing to spread the propaganda of the Corporate Media. Anyone who does that is complicit.

Kudos to Greenwald for his courage in the face of all the vile attacks on him, some by what is an embarrassing excuse for our own 'new' media.

within our own government, committed against the American people.

Do you really think that anyone here gives a damn about ANYTHING BUT the facts and that veering off into the wilderness and dragging Will here will do one thing to change the FACTS?

Our Government has conducted a massive spying campaign against its own people. Period.

Thanks to all the Whistle Blowers and journalists and the few Dems in Congress, Wyden eg, the people have been informed and the perps are lashing out trying to hide their crimes, lying to Congress, see Bush loyalist Clapper eg (what is HE doing in a Dem Administration btw?).

And none of it is working for them as the polls show, support for Snowden as a Whistle Blower is now at two thirds of the population, DESPITE all the attempts to smear him as a traitor. Nope, the people are not buying it.

It goes to show the Pulitzer can be very, very wrong: George Will is an obvious liar (not to mention a "Romney in a landslide" fool). Greenwald is a liar, really unprofessional in his emotional tirades and tactics, and seems to be motivated mainly by self-promotion so the comparison is fair.

And you know what? I agree the procedure of FISA courts need to be overhauled and reexamined, but that "Our Government has conducted a massive spying campaign against its own people" is EXTREME EXAGGERATION to the point of being UNTRUE. "Period."

and the reason for THIS Pulitzer. Pulitzer has redeemed itself as most of us didn't think they WOULD do the right thing regarding this topic, that they would be afraid.

I have gained a new respect for them due to their new found courage, maybe it's rubbing off, in giving the prize to people who deserved it this time.

by the US Govt against its own people that engaging in childish simplicities 'look who got one TOOOOO' eg, is exactly what I do not want to do.

Nor ever have.

I keep my focus on the issues. I know it's annoying to those who want to distract from the issues, but frankly, I could not care less about people who support the Surveillance State or what they think.

and the entire Left/Democratic half of the country were outraged, where did you stand on the issue? I'm asking because you appear to minimzing something that sure was a huge issue in the run up to the 2008 election for all Dems. Airc, we were promised 'reform'. It was a huge campaign issue for Dems and like-minded Independents.

Government? You seem to be lost! Thankfully a majority of the people understand what Greenwald and other journalists have exposed and increasingly support them.

Not to mention the growing support for Whistle Blower, Edward Snowden who was forced into Russia by the US Government. Why did they do that, can you explain it?
