I would call the interview a finely contrived piece of performance art. Being that he is a retired judge (and no doubt a past attorney), I bet he has had a lot of experience being in the field of drama.

I was disappointed that she didn't ask him if he is paying Joe Oliver for his less than brilliant performance on Lawrence O'Donnell in the interest of his son. I mean, friends don't let friends starve; and being that Joe Oliver quit his job so that he could go on the talk show circuit in defense of his son, a reasonable person might expect that he be "shown some consideration" for his "noble" efforts.

Definitely a softball interview, she milked him to get the answers she wanted to every question she asked. Just more Faux entertainment.
