Papantonio: Bundy Ranch Saga Far From Over

While the bulk of drama surrounding the astoundingly insane Bundy ranch standoff has dissipated, some residue of absurdity remains behind on the roads of Bunkerville, Nevada. The armed militia that Cliven Bundy raised is now patrolling the area, creating false “checkpoints” as a way of keeping their crazy eyes on things.

Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio appears on The Ed Schultz Show to discuss the latest news from Bunkerville.

Waving the flag shows patriotism! Never mind they hate the govt and want to secede... just remember they're patriots!

These are a specific kind of idiot. They are the sovereign citizen militia. This is a terrorist army that has formed in the middle of the dessert. They are going to be noticed. They will not be ignored. This is a huge moment for them, they are itching for a fight. What the hell do we do with them?
We cant just let them harass the local population. Its only a matter of time before one of them does something stupid/mean/idiotic/disastrous.
They are worried about drones. Rightfully so. So today they made a statement concerning the use of drones. They know that they are all going to be arrested at some point whether they stay or go home. The longer they stew, the more likely something bad is going to happen.
I would like to see them all declared enemies of the state, formally. All of their bank accounts frozen under the patriot act including all assets. Then I would put a large force of national guardsman. Like about 10,000 all around the Bundy ranch with tanks and the whole armada of heavy equipment. Order the immediate unconditional surrender of all enemy combatants. You know those FEMA camps we built. One of them will do nicely as accommodations. They should be tried as enemy insurgents. They should get their day in court and they can claim to be sovereign citizens at a fair trial.
Whether they ever do time for their crimes, they will definitely lose their 2nd amendment rights. That will be hilarious.

You can bet that the Feds have lots of video and that the names and addresses of most of these militia thugs are known by now. When they eventually leave to go elsewhere, they will be tracked or followed. They will then be dealt with according to the severity of their crimes.
