when she got to vaccination and fluoridation of drinking water. Those are two public health "advances" that I am definitely not in favor of! There has been so much wool that has been pulled over the public's eyes, so much distortion and perversion of basic science when it comes to the fluoridation question that it makes me sick. All fluorides, or fluoriine salts (Fluorine is a member of the Halogen or salt forming family, like Chlorine) are NOT equal! Only CALCIUM FLUORIDE belongs in the human body, and is a vital constituent of tooth enamel and periosteal tissue, but unfortunately it is not a formerly worthless industrial byproduct that can be sold to the water utilities at a huge profit, so it is not used. Sodium Chloride and Potassium Chloride are both chlorides, or Chlorine salts, but nobody talks about "chlorides" with a broad brush, as if they were all equal and interchangeable. The fluorides used to fluoridate drinking water are byproducts from aluminum refining and fertilizer manufacture, and have no place in the human body; for those who are allergically or immunologically reactive to them, they can cause real havoc, mainly with their tooth enamel and periosteal tissue - but fortunately, I am not immunologically sensitive or reactive to the main fluorides used in dental products and in drinking water; however, I have been tested to be immunologically reactive and intolerant to Thimerosal, a Mercury containing additive used in vaccinations. I also had 33 Mercury amalgam fillings in my mouth when I was younger, which I had all removed and replaced with composite resin fillings in my 30s. I also suffer from an autism spectrum disorder, which I believe has a lot to do with my immunological intolerance of Thimerosal and the vaccine connection. It would be a very easy matter to give all children serum antibody screening tests for immunological intolerance of Thimerosal, and then give Thimerosal free vaccines (they were unavailable when I was a child) to those children who tested positive for immunological reactivity or intolerance of Thimerosal. But I really wonder when - if ever - the public health authorities will be genuinely interested in the health and wellbeing of the public, and put our health over corporate and pharmaceutical company profits.
