I'd Like To Thank Dick Cheney for Flacking For President Obama. I couldn't have asked for a better

reminder of who's really responsible for the disastrous clusterf#$k that Iraq has become.

Let's face it, most voters have the memory span of a goldfish. If Dick Cheney had been able to just shut up and go away, like he was advised to do, the VAST majority of voters would be blaming President Obama for the mess in Iraq. But Cheney just can't help himself. So desperate to have the last word. So desperate to reverse and undue his well deserved reputation as the guy oversaw the biggest military and foreign policy blunder in the history of the United States, that he just HAD to come out and get in our face again.

Thank you, Dick, for reminding the American people who CAUSED this mess to occur in the first place, and who is truly responsible for it. Keep up the good work!

I think that is an accurate description. I was never much for history until 2003. Researching how we got were we were showed me how important it was to understand history.
History is never in the past, it defines everything we have to live with today.
What's that line? "Those who do not understand history".
