Chris Hedges: African-Americans and The Failure of The White Liberal Class

Another Chris Hedges interview impressed me enough today to make me look into him again. I'm not in total agreement of all he says on some things, but agree with everything he says here.

This is the kind of voice Americans need to hear. It's especially telling that, with Trayvon Martin's death, that these essential issues are still NOT being discussed in the detail he does here.

IMO, this is just common sense and Americans need to stop beating around the bush about what's going on. Every word he says here should spur us to action, help us to stay on course:

And I will still support President Obama, because I'm allowed to have different opinions and still vote for the best man for the job. It's a complex world, full of things that are not in the hands of only one person.
