EW was on fire. PK basically had not too much to add but was admiring and approving. And she loved him back, leaning over and patting his hand several times (nice touch)...
Two great liberals on stage together...it was heaven...

(63,912 posts)he didn't get in her way, added a few complimentary comments, and gave her the go-ahead.
A perfect non-sexist male. No hogging the limelight, no interrupting. Of course, he largely agreed with what she was saying so he didn't feel he was silenced. He had his interesting comments, she was the main show, and that was that. Simple. No problem.

(18,219 posts)I know that he can do the in-your-face confrontations, so it is obvious that he agreed with her. Seemed that there was only one area where they didn't agree, and she was the optimist. I did think that this "conversation" could have been done better by giving Warren the first chance to comment on one question, then Krugman first chance in the next. But they had her answering first most of the time. Not that I mind, since I love to hear her talk, but I was also interested in Krugman's opinions more than "I can't add anything more to that".

1) Why I enjoy spending time on DU, and
2) Why I miss my television not at all!
I've read Krugman's latest -- now I'm off to order EW's book.
