and provide a convenient scapegoat for all of society's ills. It's not far removed from Nazi propaganda films that characterized 'undesirables' as vermin.

In his book Hitler's Willing Executioners describes the language used by ordinary Germans to describe the Jews of Germany even before the Nazis came to power and it sounds remarkably like that used by the right wing towards latino immigrants.
