My base political beliefs were formed reading Teddy Roosevelt's autobiography as a child.

Poor guy is probably balding on top and hasn't quite mastered the combover.

I hope he never does. Bald is great. Hair plugs are tolerable. Combovers are the devil's work.

I was looking for Fob James, ex-gov of AL. His comb-over went to past his shoulder when the wind put it back where it belonged.

I'm reading Cormac O'Brien's book Secret lives of the First Ladies, just finished the chapters about Teddy's wives Alice Lee and Edith Kermit. Interesting stuff. Will definitely watch Ken Burns' series. My DVR is set to record!

Really enjoyed this first one. Learned a few things so far that I did not know before. Civil War info, Eleanor's fathers problems and Teddy's selfish ride up the hill in Cuba.
