and one guy was sitting at the end, otherwise most stayed standing. Kind of surprised me.
Not sure what that says about people. Obedient no matter what? Very respectful? No idea what was going on?
Was their any negative reaction in the paper or on message boards?

The guy who sat… who knows? Maybe he couldn't stand.

One thing's for sure… if you're going to have prayer invocation, then we better allow it all… If I DID use prayer, I'd use the pagan prayer for sure.

Personally, I don't think any of it should be a part of government function, therefore, the "moment of silence" works for me.

Whoever and what ever and how ever someone wishes to pray, please do it on your own or in a religious setting where unwilling participants are not coerced into something they do not subscribed to.
