You could be right though, just too poor for something so advanced as non- stop flights....sheesh.

West Africa are tourist, charter groups, destinations from Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Senegal which had one case and contained the spread is one of those countries. The Gambia which has been successful in avoiding the virus is another.
I doubt that Liberia has an international airline and is probably serviced by an international carrier via a hub in Europe.
