I am not a big fan of plastic surgery it seems to be driven by social pressure more than individual preferences. Sometimes it's corrective so that's good. And if you want a different nose I wouldn't say no it's a terrible idea, cuz it's yer face after all. Brand is funny though good points and she is still Renee Zellweger even if her eyes are different.

she's still good looking now. So, what's the problem?
Sometimes I, too, hate the media.

And, yes, time affects matter.

But, let's assume she's had a ton of "work" done. So what? Do kids get a healthier breakfast now?

This is media distracting us magpies from things that actually affect our lives.

Given the number of botched plastic surgery jobs out there, it's nice to see one that came out well.

I wonder where those twerps reporting Hollywood news will be 10 years on?

I wonder if anyone will care then, either… No, I really don't wonder…

But the news profession found out a while ago that true news is not as cost effective as blindly accepting corporate propaganda. Fact checking costs money. And calling out corporate lies might offend sponsors.

I suppose I could have learned that while standing in the check out line at the supermarket, which is where I usually learn things I either don't believe or don't care about and usually neither believe nor care about.

I could have gone the rest of my life not knowing this and not been aware of any difference. Renee Zellweger getting plastic surgery is neither a cure for cancer nor will it contribute to the overthrow of the corporate oligarchy.

On the other hand, what Russell Brand says about a McDonald's hamburger is spot on. This is what is great about Russell Brand. He can't talk even about the latest news from Hollywood without invoking some tinge of cultural relevancy.
