Russian landmines in Ukraine will kill children, civilians, NOT soldiers

http://www.icbl.org/en-gb/problem/arguments-for-the-ban.aspx

The human costs

Antipersonnel landmines still maim and kill ordinary people every day. They blow off their victims' legs, feet, toes and hands. They fire shrapnel into their faces and bodies. They kill.

Civilians bear the brunt

Because antipersonnel mines are indiscriminate and stay in or on the ground long after wars end, the vast majority of victims are civilians, not soldiers. Year after year, Landmine Monitor has reported that civilians account for 70 to 85 percent of casualties. This is not just during a conflict – most of the countries where casualties are reported are at peace.

Also (as documented by Human Rights Watch), the Ukraine government is using cluster munitions, which are banned under The Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM).

one vid on the channel about whoever Azov is does not necessarily tell us anything--I skimmed all the vids and did not see anything glaring. It's definitely not in their "about" section--to me it looks like mainly a Ukrainian channel that is against the Russian invasion. Please inform me if you can find anything that shows the station has such sympathies, and I will delete this post
