It basically points out that the doctor that "saved" him is a phony and all this stuff about him being crazy before and better now has to do with him trying to convince someone to give him another show. I think this theory is dead on.

Beck has obviously studied the televangelists; the end of the world is coming, the "signs" are overwhelming, buy gold and freeze dried food (from his sponsors), the Anti-Christ is living now among us, protect your families from the infidels, his crying and histrionics, every day a new drama, fear, fear, fear.
