TYT: Police Officer Slaps Man Who Did Not Want Car Searched

I saw what appears to be a swing and a sound that may have been a hit, but I did not see him actually strike the car owner. He most likely did, but I can't prove that. I can prove with that video that the LEO committed assault on both the car owner and the camera man.

So here we are, I'm still right (regardless of anything else) and you are... waffling. We can keep this up until waffles start to sound pretty good in the morning.

I said that assault is proved in the recording.

Spitfire wanted to sound intelligent by giving the definitions of assault and battery.

I noted that battery is not necessarily proved by the video (although it's probable). Everything else has been Spitfire apparently trying to assuage hurt feelings.

It is my contention the cop speaking to his colleagues, in jest, about ripping off their heads. You can't prove he was speaking to the civilian.

You will need to show me bonafide audio analysis from a qualified audio expert if you plan on making those assertions. (Btw, I'm all booked up so don't ask)

Yeah, that's going to work out just fine...

All I'm saying is that the video itself doesn't prove battery, because the guy with the phone happened to pan down at the wrong time. The asshole cop probably hit him, but he could have just grabbed the keys out of his hand. Notice how he tosses keys right after the "incident"?

Regardless of anything the cop is guilty of assault, which is what I said in the first place.

There's one to the left of the asshole and he tosses the keys to someone to the right. I can't prove that the person to his right is a LEO, but if he is tossing the keys to someone who is not a LEO and ordering them to search the car, there's bigger problems.

What, didn't your expert audio analysis indicate that?

and the Defendant is charged with "resisting arrest" is the part where the cop intimates the guy is "resisting." The cops in the Ferguson video of the two reporters in the McDonalds kept saying "stop resisting" when the guys obviously we're not resisting. Something to remember!

This would not be taught in cop school, because the whole idea is to defuse a potential violent situation. Instead, we have this carrot stroker insighting violence. He PUSHES it. He can't WAIT for the guy we hear being slapped to raise his hands.

Sat Nov 15, 2014, 06:13 PM
Nov 2014

they hate it. Makes them do whatever you just said they can't do.

The only time to say "You can't..." to a cop is during the use of reverse psychology and that is tricky -- "You can't let me go with a warning this time."

There was a "joke" in Los Angeles: How do you make a cop hit you in the head with their flashlight?
Answer: You say 'You can't hit ME in the head with your flashlight!" ( * clunk! *)

Better to say "I do not consent to searches" They hate that too but it is not usually perceived as telling them what to do or telling them what they can't do.

Sat Nov 15, 2014, 08:27 PM

This fucker has been doing this type of shit for at least 20 years .

April 31, 1994 about 11:30pm I am on my way home from my job in Albany NY to my home 15 miles north in Clifton Park NY. I am driving on a back road which was a shortcut to my house when i pass a sheriffs deputy going the opposite direction. A couple minutes later he comes up behind me and pulls me over. He and another deputy approach the car. I ask him why he pulled me over and he told me to shut up and give him my license, registration and insurance card. He looks at them and says I pulled you over for an "open container" I ask what open container, he says that coffee in your console. ( I was drinking coffee when he passed me) He then says "wait here" and goes back to his car. 15 mins passes, 20 minutes passes his partner comes to my window and says the computer is running slow and they are waiting for a response. Another 15 mins passes and I motion to them through the rear window to ask what is going on. His partner comes up to my car and says " just a few more minutes and we will have you on your way". Another 15-20 mins passes Now it is almost 12:30 am and this pig Shawn Glans comes back to my car and hands me my license and papers. Then hands me a ticket. I ask what is the ticket for, he points at the windshield and says your inspection sticker is expired. My sticker expired at midnight, this bastard kept me on the side of the road until it expired! At that point I knew to just shut up, take the ticket and go home. I went to traffic court(town of Halfmoon, home of nutty rightwingers) and told the judge what happened, of course the cop denied it by pointing out that the time on the citation was 12:21 am. The judge said he found the cop to be more credible ( big fucking surprise!) I got a $45 fine for my effort.

FWIW Where he stopped me was only ~300 yards from where the video takes place. There was no Walmart there at the time and the back road I was on(Plant Rd) is just behind where the store is now.

We've seen outright murders and executions on a weekly basis, if not not daily. We've seen innocent people beat to death by cops.

Well, maybe more prosecutors will start doing their jobs. Eventually.
