Stafford Walmart Black Friday brawl captured on video

HOUSTON -- Some Houston-area shoppers caught national attention this Black Friday after cell phone video captured a brawl over a television.

Another shopper recorded the fiasco with a cell phone as it unfolded early Friday morning at Walmart located at 11210 West Airport in Stafford.

Customers inside the store for bargain hunting surrounded a display where 50-inch televisions were going on sale.

Police said when the giveaway began customers rushed the display and started grabbing the televisions. Several people got heated as the number of TVs began to dwindle.

Witnesses said people tried to claim their items by lying on top of TVs and wrestling each other off. It got so rough that police jumped in to sort things out.

Stafford police said in the end, no was hurt and no one was arrested.

----They should make it into a "sporting event", seeing as how Black Friday is almost as violent as pro football.
