I just meant I saw that as "holy crap somebody is in my bedroom" not "I don't have makeup on"

Women wear makeup.

Women make the rules about makeup.

If some woman is silly enough to be afraid to be seen without makeup, that seems to be more her own problem.

And, if I suddenly realized I was in a public place, having forgotten to apply it, I would be slightly embarrassed, and probably blush. What I would NOT do is yelp like a puppy that someone just tripped on. And I'm 46. The girl in the commercial is 25 MAX.

Is it misogynist that you would feel slightly embarrassed if you forgot your makeup? Her reaction is just different than yours - I don't see how that pushes the commercial into "misogynist" territory.

I don't even own any makeup, so I don't even relate to being "caught" without it. I just don't see nefarious motives in the commercial - I think it's just trying to be cute or lighthearted, or something.
