To get you folks in the holiday spirit:
Just in time for the holidays, the 92-year-old acting legend is releasing a brand new Christmas single titled "Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing." The playful metal song is set to the tune of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." It feature's Lee's bass vocals over Hedras Ramos guitar.
This marks the actor's third heavy metal Christmas release after 2012s A Heavy Metal Christmas and 2013s Heavy Metal Christmas Too. He's put out a handful of non-holiday metal tracks over the years as well. You can catch a snippet of the new song around the 1:51 mark of this YouTube medley, which includes bits from his previous releases as well:

(8,636 posts)Long before he played Dracula, the James Bond villain Scaramunga, Count Dooku, or Saruman, he had a service record in WWII that sounded like that was wilder than one of his cousin Ian Fleming's stories (Yeah, he's Ian Fleming's cousin!).
The fact that Sir Christopher is now, officially, at 92, the oldest Heavy Metal Rocker in history, is just the capstone to an incredible, unconventional life and career.
