Just to let you know, one of the most memorable concert experiences of my life was The Who, with Keith Moon at Madison Square Garden. I recall, looking through my binoculars, the expressions on his face as he pounded on the drums.
About 10 years later, same location, Pete hooked his finger on the strings of his guitar -- blood all over the place. It was one of the last songs on the bill so he was able to leave soon after.
Two years later, concert at Hampton Roads, Va. I was in the second row, in front of a bank of speakers. I lost hearing on that one for several weeks.
