Hey, Laura, I don't see why he did that interview either.

he was brave enough to do this interview at all. And to answer that question for Barbara Walters, DK probably doesn't care about people's private lives one way or the other. He's just a money hoarder. He's basically a real-life Mr.Krabs; "money money money"! He funds whoever he thinks acts in the best interest of his own pocketbook. If those candidates happen to want to wipe out contraceptive rights, gay rights, voting rights, etc., so be it. No skin off his nose.

It's a nice try for Republicans to sell themselves as moderate, but I've decided that it's a false dichotomy and far too easy an out.

You can be for marriage equality and a couple of other issues and call yourself "socially liberal" or "socially moderate"--but the real social issues are deeply embedded in fiscal and economic policy. That's where racism, sexism, and other forms of social policy are formed. Education funding or heating assistance or environmental policy are inextricably entwined with racism, sexism, and other issues. Cutting spending or advocating for balanced budgets are acts that have enormous repercussions in social policy.

So no.

I didn't see him championing a balanced budget when George W. Bush was in the White House and the GOP ran all of Congress.

Aren't these people always blathering about the importance
of taking personal responsibility?

Re: the RW candidates he finances, even though they do
not share his socially liberal views:

"Well, that's their problem. I DO have these views."

No Dave:

It is not their problem. It is America's problem. It is humanity's
problem. And you are making it worse. You could do so much
good with that money, and history would praise you.

As it is, you will be remembered as a twitchy old liar who
covered the planet in oil and gas. You will be vilified along
with Cheney and ilk. The polluters, the torturers, the liars.

He ought to have remained reclusive. He's terrible TV, with all that
blinky twitching, and not fascinating at all, unless you are fascinated
by decomposing matter.

Five general stages are used to describe the process of decomposition in vertebrate animals: fresh, bloat, active and advanced decay, and dry/remains.[4] The general stages of decomposition are coupled with two stages of chemical decomposition: autolysis and putrefaction.[5] These two stages contribute to the chemical process of decomposition, which breaks down the main components of the body.

Republican/Libertarians, he's nothing but a lying piece of shit. Everyone and anyone that's followed the issues doesn't need Barbara Walters asking these preordained questions to know the true answers here. His twitching and blinking proves this guy is wound up like a psychotic freak, ready pound Walters to death if she pisses him off. What a lying prick. We all know the creep is ruling Republicans/Democrats from his gulided throne...

You can just see how sincere that interview was going…

Barbara, I think you need to start interviewing Occupy Wall Street attendees and asking them questions. Your ratings are, after all, your most important asset, correct? Thought so.

As far a Koch goes, he's neither Libertarian or other platform… he's the worst excuse excuse of a human being with money and influence we've dealt with far too long. I hope you showered after that interview.

Some of his family members and "the help" are gay or have gay family members - and he has sympathy for them. But only as much sympathy as it doesn't cost him a buck in extra taxes.
