I never watch Fox news. This interview appears scripted by Fox news and the CIA. Who did the water boarding? Megyn Kelly seems to know more about torture than the man who claims to be the water-boarder.
What are they talking about, a second wave of attacks? One more lie to justify the use of torture.
Torture is a deep dark abyss. Unless this nation understands the ramifications of torture, it will destroy itself.

If these people are not prosecuted then it's going to get worse.
Torture will become common. I'm ashamed of what we've done and more ashamed that it seems to be condoned by this country.

10. If films could portray

the realities of our deeds, I would have to say that this reminds me of films I watched recently on the Borgias. Here is a link to the Jeremy Irons version

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1582457/

There was another made for TV series out as well and it is here which starred John Doman

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1736341/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_8

Both of the above were almost unbearable to watch and (imho) having appeal to mass culture emphasized sex and violence as much as political intrigue. I couldn't watch the complete John Doman series because the torture scenes were so graphically portrayed. The political intrigue and this family was in essence what Machiavelli based his Prince upon...So I went to the Spanish version which is here

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482473/

It seems what is illustrative of these times is the age of neo-feudalism and principles of ordering society....While the Borgia examples Western society was evolving toward political organization - in our case we are drifting toward political disintegration....In both cases greed, sex, violence, barbarity and torture - sadism reign.

What I find most remarkable is the interviewer is a professional well practiced journalist that let Dr. Mitchell tell his story his way with his POV. Minimal judgment, commentary or analysis from Kaj Larsen, a journalist I know nothing about but in this video displayed nothing but hyper-objectivity and no effort what so ever telling us what to think. Which I think is beautiful in this age of AGENDA DRIVEN CORPORATE PROPAGANDA.

I have to find the recent Rachel clip about the CIA staff that actually ran the site (Baghram AFB?) that did the water boarding and rectal feeding and other "EIT's". The person the CIA put in charge of the facility was green to the CIA and had absolutely no professional interrogation credentials what so ever. He even had bad personnel reviews because he pilfered supplies and his superiors clearly didn't find him very good at his job.

And then contrast that with Gen Hayden and John Brennan and comments from other CIA honcho's that have testified under Oath in front of Congress. They make it sound like our torture chambers were manned only with the cream of the crop best and brightest of their CIA craft. With empty platitudes we see all the time like - our highly trained staff, we only use the best ingredients, our employees consider customer satisfaction job one, nothing but the best for my dog and other hollow vapid cliche and utterly untrue characterizations. This program was run by mean ignorant hacks that gleefully provided what ever tortures Cheney wanted for any reason at all. I think they were just too stupid and uneducated to know any better!

9. INDICTMENTS

This is just disgusting, and I mean disgusting, we have this bubble-headed bleach blonde asking how, when and what , when she should have said your a criminal you broke the international laws and this evidence is enough to indict you and everyone else in the Bush administration and the CIA when he admitted to a crime.
Then we have a right wing blonde talking head trying to give this hypocrite cover--I mean really
I WANT MY MONEY BACK---we do not give the FBI, CIA, DIA of any agency to do this crap

This hypocrite has NO MORALITY, NO CONSCIENCE for the actions----none---no apology ----nothing, if I were to do what he did I would be deemed in the sociological and psychology world as a psychopath right along with everyone that created and committed these crimes he needs to be investigated and indicted for WAR CRIMES.
But that is not going to happen in the new right wing Congress---none

This is amazing. This man actually performed some of the waterboarding personally! Cute that the torture business has its own jargon, as I finally learned the reason why these guys were waterboarded 80 or 150 times. It was multiple “pours” – brief pouring with lots of breaks between pours. That’s why the numbers were so high. They were being compassionate and empathetic. Interesting this man is such a master at his craft he tuned and tweaked the procedure as the situation required. He knew right away that way too much water was being used. His Doctoring creds came in handy for that call. And I can see why he and his business partner were paid over sixty million by our government for their services. They are masters of their sophisticated and scientific craft.

I guess it’s just the extra constraints that make your torturing job harder when you have to stick to those cumbersome methods required of America’s kinder and gentler water boarding methods. Those nasty Japanese that we hung after WW2 for doing it to our guys were bad torturers that committed war crimes. Torture to US Department of Justice approved specifications is kinder and gentler non-torture intelligence gathering techniques. Which is clearly not torture.

That nasty Democratic only torture committee. Making Patriots like Dick Cheney and this guy look like war criminals! Why must everything be so politicized these days?
