the US dollar rose against the Euro from USD 0.75 to USD 1.50. A lot of US wealth went offshore thanks to Bush and the republicans.
In 2000 my Wife was talking to a Dutch banker and predicted the Euro would go to USD 1.27. The banker laughed in her face.

crash when you live in a country where you are kept poor in order to keep the wealthy healthy.
