Rescued from a puppy mill, see her transformation (blind & deaf)

Sometimes, you just know when you are a part of something truly special and you hold on to every moment you can.

That's what happened for me back in June of this year when we met a special boxer-mix named Hooray for the very first time.

Hooray was just one of countless dogs that we helped rescue from a puppy mill in Tennessee. The situation, as is always the case with puppy mills, was devastating. Hundreds of dogs suffer in heart-wrenching conditions – all so someone could make a profit. It's horrible, and it's why the support of people like you is critical to the continuation of RedRover's lifesaving work.

Hooray, shy and timid to begin with, was also left blind and deaf as a result of the inbreeding at the mill. And while our RedRover Responders team never gets used to witnessing such inhumane conditions, we do take comfort in knowing that once we're there, we're going to make life better for these special dogs.

That was certainly the case for Hooray. Despite her challenges, Hooray is now a joyful, energetic dog sniffing her way into mischief and living the life that every dog deserves. Click here to watch a video of Hooray and then make your donation to support our puppy mill deployments and more in 2015.

Seeing Hooray's transformation makes me feel so good about being a part of RedRover. We responded to six puppy mills just this year alone. Animals give us so much, and this is a perfect time of year to give back for them.

Steven, make your tax-deductible gift so we can help more animals just like Hooray. Click to give your special year-end donation to save suffering animals right now.

Thank you so much for making this world a better place for animals, and for us all. I hope you'll enjoy seeing Hooray's transformation as much as we did.

Happy holidays,

One rescued from a puppy mill "pet shop" the other from a kill shelter. They both have a great sign vocabulary and "listen" and mind better than my kids. Plus, they rarely bark and you can vacuum all around their sleeping selves without waking them! Sweetest, most affectionate dogs I've ever had the honor of "owning" (they actually own me).
