Truly, why the fuck are these monsters allows to breath their venom into the public air waves?

Mendacious lies and hate and out right manufactured and purposeful deception for political purposes, or for incitement of violence, all free speech protected?

cable-only operations aren't subject to the same FCC oversight as broadcasters. But what FAUX shows on cable gets quoted, excerpted, and commented on by broadcasters who do use the public airwaves, usually without the slightest effort to fact-check it first. Oh, and of course, FAUX has its local affiliates who do broadcast over the public airwaves, and freely excerpt from News Corpse shows -- so the lies end up getting broadcast anyway.

I'd be interested to know -- is the FAUX affiliate in Baltimore cable-only ? Because if they broadcast their fabricated story about protestor's chants over the public airwaves, they most certainly can be held to legal account for that.

Same goes for radio. I like it for background music when I work, but when I'm in a vehicle I prefer talking to the person(s) I am with.

Gossip channels like ET & Fox News have no intrinsic value. They're there to help someone who marvels at others to pass time, to waste their life away before they die.

I'm over it and moving on. We know what we know and I'm not going to devote any of my time trying to convince FOXBOTS. Hearing people argue on TV doesn't settle anything, except to fatten the cats selling advertising between segments. Television needs a reboot, because it's too much about promoting discourse or fake reality. The few channels remaining with educational and insightful programming are too few to justify my voting (with $$$) towards it all.

Granted, I grew up in a period where the channels you were able to bring into your home came via antennas. So I'm able to step back and see the transformation of the medium over time. I'm done with it.

Sadly sgtdiaz you have been neuro linguistically programmed by fox and you no longer have the intellectual capacity to distinguish fact from fox fiction and lies. If you served over in the wars in the middle east fighting for oil company profits you got fed a steady dose of Fox bullshit and your brain was fried. Turn off fox, turn on your local news or read a book by Thom Hartmann. You will be a happier person by stewing in the cesspool of hate over at Fox.
