put them in the back yard and string some popcorn for wild birds to snack. Especially in cold, frozen areas where there is not much on shrubs for them.

The goats will strip the trees of needles, small twigs and some bark, leaving tree carcasses that will be easier for the birds to perch on, and to string popcorn on. Just won't look quite as pretty.
