Look at Reagan. Alzheimers was a final blessing on his legacy. Who wants to pick on a guy when he's that down and out? It successfully silenced all his critics of his appalling record such as the secret deal to trade arms to a terrorist state for hostages just so he could take credit for saving those Americans, then selling chemical weapon grade chemicals to Iraq that were used against his own people, his economically ruinous policies and deficit spending, not to mention his war on unions.

I'd rather see Rush go down by being caught with a boy in his room, or some other criminal act and he is publicly disgraced forever and sits in a jail cell.
