"A billboard displaying a message tied to a segregationist "mantra" popular with white supremacists has cropped up outside of Birmingham, Alabama, a city that has seen several racially charged, separatist signs posted in recent years.
AL.com reported Sunday that a billboard reading "Diversity means chasing down the last white person #whitegenocide" was posted on I-59 in St. Clair County.
The news website noted the similarity between the billboard and one posted within Birmingham city limits in June 2013 reading "Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white." AL.com reported that both phrases are attributed to the White Genocide Project, a group composed of white supremacists and segregationists."

(46,340 posts)They are blowing thousands of $$$ on these billboards that do nothing but get people pissed off at the white supremacist groups.
The actual membership will start getting pissed off too, at how the leadership is blowing their money on these.

(19,240 posts)actually people of other colors hating them. They project, because they know that their hatred is wrong and sick and makes them disgusting people who are not fit to live with---and since they have to live with themselves, they go into a vicious cycle of denial, projection, denial, projection that makes them so completely messed up that they will have to spend many hundreds of billions of years in Buddhist Hell trying to get their shit together so that they can finally begin the cycle of reincarnation as a flea.

(5,281 posts)Christians are being persecuted in this country. Marketing victimhood to deflect their role in the persecution of the real victims. Classic blaming the victims. Just another propaganda technique that people never tire of employing because it unfortunately works way too often with people who prefer to nurse grudges rather than self-reflect.

(10,597 posts)... that's freedom of hate speech. Wonder what the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) thinks of it.
Just when you think there's no way they could think up more ways to spread their bigoted views, they splash it up on the billboards. Before you know it, they'll go robo.

(54,256 posts)OK, I live in Alabama and it gets pretty bad/weird sometimes, but two places two years apart = 'All Over'?
Alabama is a big state, so one billboard cannot be "all over" it.
