While walking a rope line in Boulder, Colorado, a woman spilt yogurt on President Obama outside a restaurant. Obama took the incident in stride, quipping “Getting yogurt on the president, you’ve got a story to tell.”

Obama has empathy, but I agree that it needs to inform policy more than it has.

a crowd of people. I know I sure wouldn't trust myself to handling both at the same time!

But maybe in the excitement she forgot she had it in her hand. That can happen!

He considered her point of view, and alleviated any anxiety she had. I like how he referred to himself as the president, not Barack Obama or "me".

Mitt Rmoney would have said "me" and would not have been anywhere near truly gracious. Mitt might have thought it clever to joke that she should be glad it wasn't a gun.
