Just that one little quarter turn and I feel like I know her. I can almost hear her voice as she excitedly calls her mom and big sister to come and watch the celebrations. Such a litttle thing, but it speaks volumes.

my daughter is 9 and when I saw this it just hit me. She is just a girl like every other girl ages before her and since. It really hits me.

I went to see the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam a few years ago.

There was one room, where she had put photos from magazines on the wall; and I could imagine all her hopes and dreams for the future.

It was a very moving and emotional experience.
