(1,484 posts)I do not subscribe to broadcast TeeVee, so this is the only way that I would have ever seen this. I lost it when I saw the way that the crowd responded to President Obama. It made me feel like we as a nation can win, in spite of all of the corporate money and the blatant lying that those who oppose us are using!

(1,484 posts)I already knew what a brilliant speaker President Obama is, along with how great his ideas are, but what really energized me tonight was to see how enthusiastic his supporters were towards him. Wouldn't it be great if the vast majority of our country got behind President Obama in this manner? I would love to see the people who are left (the pukes) cower in apology for not being on our side, almost as much as I would like to see the koch bros, along with all of their ilk each come down with a nasty terminal case of the gout. It would give new meaning to the term "vanquished foe".

(24,721 posts)First time I've seen one of these slow jams -- it's a cute & original idea.
I was thinking that the two backup singers/dancers from Amy Winehouse's former band would add just the right attitude for Fallon's slow jams:
Surya Gayatri
(15,445 posts)I was hoping somebody would, 'cause I don't get network TV here in Europe.
I was grinning all the way through the show. What a great guy--you can't help but be drawn to him.
He certainly has his flaws as an executive, but he's one hell of a fine human being.
