ALEC or whatever ALEC morphs into because we know about ALEC will fight hemp the way it fights solar - concentrate on the states and corrupt the state legislatures and governors.

(2,073 posts)I don't know about that, and I stopped the video after the farmer dude in the beginning rattled that one off. As an herbalist, I have my questions about that. Not that hemp is that unsafe, but it has very stiff competition from many, or most, other medicinal herbs in the safety department, most of which I would argue are even safer than hemp. But compare any of them to the so-called "safety" of the pharmaceutical drugs coming out these days, and they're all WAY safer, when used properly - there's no comparison.
I would say that hemp is, rather than the safest, one of the most useful herbs / plants known to man. The farmer dude rattled off many of the plant's uses - except the medicinal and health ones.
I'll watch the rest of the video later. I hope to find out how they refine hemp oil into gasoline, and the relative cost of that process compared to the refining of petroleum into gasoline.

By the way can you name one way in which hemp/cannabis/marijuana harms humans? Thanks in advance.
