2. To Hell with these people!

$175,000 a year plus retirement and the best health care to do nothing!

These folks should be ashamed of themselves, but then you need empathy and a conscience to feel shame...

5. There should be pix of the whole chamber.

Was there a good crowd on the pro-healthcare side of the room?

A pic and caption would go a long way toward showing how the majority of America, as clearly evidenced even in Congress, does NOT support these dumbass repeal efforts. Even the absent Republicans know they don't really have the country's support on this, or else they would've bothered showing up.

There is never a huge crowd on the floor for debate of any bill.
The only ones on the floor are the Representative who owns the bill (and controls the time for their side of debate) and the opposing side.
People come in and out usually with their floor staff holding their spot on the floor (and their speech).

Not defending how idiotic these people are, just stating that it's nearly always like this if you take random snapshots.

If someone doesn't have a stake in the debate, they are usually in one of their committee assignments. They only fill the chamber to vote.

fired off an email to my R-Congressmen telling him to stop wasting time and money voting again on this DOA bill and to try and do some good for this Country.
I did ask him for his alternative, just in case this made all the way through to Obama to sign...still waiting for his response.

10. We elected these a**holes to represent us?

Wasn't 40, 50, 55 times enough? I guess not. And obviously, they could give a shit about the 10 million people on the ACA? Me and my wife are part of the 10m. I wonder how many of the 10M are republicans? Even if its only 20%, that's 20% of 10 million. Not good when it comes time for election day.

I'm not a freeloader and have worked very hard when I was employed. I took no free handouts from the government. At 60, and still unemployed after 1.5 years, the future looks bleak for me. To have these people attempt to destroy the lives of 10M people, with no plan of their own, is unforgivable. How anyone can vote GOP, blows me away.

Two reasons for this:

1st is they just swore in a bunch of newbies that got there in the 1st place by promising to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Just get it out of the way now.

2nd is that they wanted everyone on record for there new attack.

The GOP can't even be bothered to do any work--they just flap their gums and whine! For a hefty six figures, health care, a juicy retirement, perks up the yin-yan, AND an entree to a post-Congressional career worth millions on K Street.

It's obscene.

15. Our most embarrassing Republican leadership
Thu Feb 5, 2015, 05:50 PM
Feb 2015

On both ends there is wasted space. That is from our Mainstream Media that occupy the electromagnetic spectrum, also, the leadership in the Republican Party that display or exhibit the fifty sixth try to repeal Obama Care. Knowing very well it is a waste of time.

Our most embarrassing Republican leadership at the podium center stage in the endless argument to repeal what the Republicans and the Media call Obama Care, especially propagated by cable and the hate based radio talk shows.

Obama Care is really the “Affordable Care Act” it should be addressed as such, however with a false doctrine and with media complicity to keep the drum roll going with the intentional subversion introducing a clear racial bias to avoid improvement upon a better Health Care for all Americans.

Being called Obama Care for the past eight years by the Media and the Republicans have solidified the racism with hardened complicity total bias towards what America needs or is required.

The Republicans in open defiance arrogance have with intentional shame smear, deceive young men and women and the minority community in lies about Health Care.

The lack of support from their own party shows the disgrace and the phony argument that this Republican leadership puts into message.

This new phony position is stuck with the Republicans as antithetical towards personal pledges and the Constitution.

Also, in this Republican age are forged with the label as the party of government shut down that leads to a disruption in the economy with total disrespect to the electorate that placed them in office.

16. Government Waste
Thu Feb 5, 2015, 05:51 PM
Feb 2015

For all you right wingers out there screaming and yelling about government waste take a look at this picture, I see 5 mind you, just 5 of your right wing hypocrites and the one good old boy that went to a David Duke meeting awhile back who is your majority whip and by the way is making over $200,000 a year.
Last year your right wing Congress being led by your right wing speaker (Boehner making $225,000 a year), was on vacation 244 days in the last year to the tune of over 42 MILLION on the taxpayers monies, that is what is called government waste.
And then these five hypocrites along with the other 8 sitting somewhere bring forth another measure to try and disenfranchise people from health care, these five hypocrites are what your kind commonly refer to is the death panel supporters, while they get health care off our tax dollars, they are trying there hardest to make you get sick and you can't see a doctor unless you go to an emergency room----nice job

Thu Feb 5, 2015, 11:50 PM

repealing PPACA has become almost like a Republican "rite of passage", especially for its Freshman members eager to establish "teabagger cred" for the next election.

Were Republicans this obsessive about Social Security? I mean, did they hold repeal votes like this every year after they held control of Congress again after it was passed/implemented?
