1. We Hold These Economic Truths to Be Self-Evident...

that all prosperity, for all classes, flows from middle class prosperity and consumer demand. That without this middle class prosperity and demand, a free and democratic nation and economic system can never endure. Elizabeth and Elijah have many top economists on their side, which is only natural , since top economists are, by and large, very intelligent and insightful men. They also have the American middle class and working families on their side, who can see the writing on the wall as they huddle together over the kitchen table. But that ain't who's in control in Washington. Even an architect knows that if a building has a weak foundation, and is too top heavy, that it will soon topple over, and will not be strong or resilient enough to weather the elements. What we have here is a powerful testament to the awesome blinding power of short term corporate greed, which gets them to ignore these self evident economic truths, and the inevitable karmic chickens that will soon come home to roost if they don't mend their ways. And any astute student of history knows that this total usurpation of political and economic power by a ruling elite is the most dominant pattern of history, in the rises and falls of political and economic systems, nations and empires, from ancient Rome, and even earlier, down to the present. Yet just as perennial is the ideal, which refuses to die within the progressive human heart, that it doesn't have to be this way, that a better way exists. And that's what the Elizabeth and Elijah team is all about.

Otherwise, Warren/Cummings would make a great ticket.

When I saw a free screening of Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" when it first came out, Rep. Cummings was there to inspire the crowd.

...that you don't want to mess with Sen. Warren (as she SHOULD have been addressed by Mika)? I didn't see old Joe try to push a single teabagger talking point towards her. Maybe the righties have learned that SHE will hnd their asses to them and she'll do it in the nicest and most gentle way.

She doesn't take BS from ANYBODY, God bless her!

PEACE!

I'm a little concerned that Joe was so positive about what they're doing. On the other hand, I don't think there are any Repubs who could deliver the message effectively, much less convincingly.

While watching, I suddenly realized that Elizabeth is every bit as good at framing and wording as Luntz is for the other side. There hasn't been a Dem who could do that since JFK ... including Clinton and Obama.
