Class Warfare: S.E. Cupp Battles Bill Maher And Panel Over ‘Demonizing Prosperity’

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/class-warfare-s-e-cupp-battles-bill-maher-and-panel-over-demonizing-prosperity/

On Real Time with Bill Maher tonight, the host and panel took on the general election race. When Maher brought up the class warfare seemingly being waged between Mitt Romney and President Obama, S.E. Cupp argued that Democrats should not be “demonizing success” and defended Romney by pointing to his charitable donations. Maher shot back by pointing out they were to the Mormon church, and both ended up in a back-in-forth over whether Romney was giving to the poor through the church or not. <SNIP> ...

I like Bill's statement, "Name one poor Mormon".

The problem with Romney giving to charity is that most of it is to the Mormon church and the rest is to their foundation that gives more back to the Mormon church or to conservative organizations. When he does give to possible worthwhile groups it is small. $75,000 to MS organization and $20,000 to Homes for Troops.

In her book, she makes the claim that 80% of the US is Christian. But based on the numbers she provided for Christians and population in 2008 she is way off base. The number she used is only 57%.

According to Wiki she labels herself as an atheist yet she writes a book "Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity". And apparently talks about how nasty atheists are and how great Christians are. The only conclusion based on that and there are over 200,000 matches with her name and fake atheists is that she is a fake atheist.

Personally, I think Sarah just likes to chatter chatter without really using anything that she has of a brain.

upset over the oppression of Christians in our culture. Really?

That's like Santorum writing a book on the mistreatment of homosexuals.

If she mean bush1 and bushco2, then yes, they were wealthy. However, Carter, Clinton, Obama were not wealthy when elected. As far as I know, neither were raygun and nixon.

I don't know who she is and had never heard her before, but she didn't come off very good on this segment. It was hard to tell what she stood for, her points were garbled. On this show at least, she was out of her league.
