Science has has no objective affiliations other than that of truth. Senator Inhofe has no objective affiliations other than that of cash. The idea that science can be republican or democratic is delusional at best and criminal at worst. The harm to humans through science denial is incalculable. Acting on or creating public policy based on anything other than imperical, evidence based information is tantamount to treason, especially at the Federal level. Failure to accept evidence based information because you are paid by a third party to do so is bribery, last time I heard bribery was a crime...but maybe not in Washington. When you are elected to a national office you are expected to act in the best interests of the nation, not on your fantastical wishes or dellusions, or even the goofy constituency that voted for you and their delusional fantasies.
