violate the Logan Act.

Treason could be proved easily if the actions of the GOP resulted in Iran maneuvering, getting time to build a bomb, etc.

The actions of the GOP are, as usual, very stupid and not thought out at all.

First the WH and Pentagon have to make sure these 47 NEVER see another drop of classified info.

when confronted with facts...and he tries to overwhelm it with speaking faster and more.

This is the MO of them all...shout it down and accuse others to distract from the facts.

"But what about Joe Biden?"

But to dumb people the GOPer seemed to make sense.

If I were Iran and saw my window of opportunity for an agreement slipping away with the rise of a new wave of anti-Iran war mongering Republican insanity in America, I would certainly be motivated to achieve a solid agreement with Obama tout de suite. Is this a good cop, bad cop ploy? Even if not, it could actually work in favor of this Iran nuclear issue.

Which is basically what the letter said.
They know the GOP controls the congress...and that Obama is in a weak position.

Most of those signatures on this fillthy peace of politician theater should be standing trial at the Hague for their role in destroying Iraq who had no WMDs and played no role in the 911 attack.

7. K & R, I do see it as treason and it should be acted upon IMO. I'm so tired of this 3 ring circus

of a broken and hijacked gov't. It gets worst with each passing day.

This group should be ousted immediately, there has to be some kind of safeguard against gov't employees going AWOL, overriding a sitting president, as though they are the leaders and he is obsolete.

It is not their job to act on their own whims. Treason should be dealt with, there is no accountability.
Sabotage is clearly their aim.
This guy is a fool running at the mouth.

TY Thom Hartmann for your fine work!

8. Treason - That's What It Is!

But boy, how far we have fallen in just forty years! Nixon sabotaged the Paris Peace Talks in secret; Reagan worked behind the scenes to sabotage Jimmy Carter's efforts to free the hostages. And now, a bunch of despicable Republican bastards go out and commit a treasonous act right out in the open, in open defiance of a sitting US President! America will have fully conquered the demons of its racist past not when they merely elect a black President, but when they also give a black President the same level of honor and respect that they would give a white President. It's not the man who holds the office - his party, his politics or his race that matters, it's the office itself, and the fact that the President is duly and democratically elected by the people.

Thom never slowed down long enough to question what polls he is viewing/getting information from. The GOP makes up polls to make their point, just like them make up financial numbers to make their point...
