So cool to see the "diamond ring" over and over again as they go to different cameras on the Beeb!

(11,833 posts)Funny, I was just listening to BBC radio news and they were talking about it. That's what got me up to check it out!
It's being called 'the first great astronomical event of the century.'

(17,997 posts)At http://solareclipse2015.org.uk for well over an hour. Unbelievable images. From Faroe Islands, Svalbard (hope that is right) and I am so glad I couldn't sleep.
The images are like nothing I have ever watched.

(17,997 posts)And amazed.
Were you watching them the whole time? Did you see when they removed the filter during the total eclipse? Those images will be everywhere later today
lovemydog
(11,833 posts)That astronomer is so cool. I love his accent.

My life would be boring.
We could do, "look at lovemydog! Opening a third tab to watch the Eclipse! That's something wonderful to see! "
I think I need some sleep.
lovemydog
(11,833 posts)Sleep well. The universe is cool.
