Related: About this forumA California Dog Saves Swimmers at Beach
Two swimmers at a Ventura beach were rescued Thursday from dangerous rip currents not by a lifeguard but by a dog.
The dogs owners said the 3-year-old Burmese mountain dog ran into the ocean after a couple started screaming for help.
Dave Mecham reports for the KTLA 5 News at 6 on Friday, March 20, 2015.

that slides under the stove. Will patiently sit in quiet vigil, staring at the point of disappearance, alerting us to the situation. And, of course, he is rewarded for each successful rescue.

Kibble and cereal under the stove can be a very dangerous situation. You are lucky he is a rescue dog.
