There's a great deal of inequality still built into the system, but we don't move mountains day and night to pave the way for the thieves at the tippy-top of the class structure. So, when we're in power, the productivity of the nation can actually float all boats a bit, until the cycle begins anew, and the R's take office again.

but WHY aren't the income and productivity (AND Wall St.) graph lines all slanting upwards in unison??? It's one thing to say it's getting better - it's another to feel like one's a part of that trend!

Sort of in the Thom Hartmann league where his assessment is the OA is doing just enough to keep it from sinking on their watches. Given TH knocked it out of the park on his historical aspect, I hope he's wrong about his view of our future.
