I use to go to sleep at night listening to a DJ named Gene By Golly Berry on WING in Dayton Ohio. He played blues along with top 40. Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Edda James, Little Walter just like in the movie Cadillac Records.

AM radio was great throughout my early 70s childhood well. No blues though; I was one of those white kids Muddy was referring to as having discovered the old bluesmen through the Stones (who did a great service not only for their idols but by exposing the blues and a huge piece of American history to a whole new generation of kids in this country).

Thanks for your response.
