Mr. Schaivo hit the nail in the head.

We all know what it's code for - let big business piss all over the place by regulating the American Citizen more.

Never forget these "limited government" assholes are complete liars. They're 100% Republicans who want to pretend Dubya never existed after spending those Bush years with trembling lips of anticipation to allow he and his Republican Congress to bang them right in their pieholes.

I don't mean to be gross and I certainly DO NOT imply anything else, so for those in charge here - do not deliberately take my words out of their intended context in order to make it something I clearly have no intention of. I am merely illustrating how despicable and blindly devoted Republicans are to their leaders that they revere as figurative gods.

"It's appropriate for people to err on the side of life"
Except, of course, with capital punishment.
Or the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by a war based on fabricated justification.
Or 50,000 fewer preventable deaths since the Affordable Care Act became the law of the land.

But then, consistency has never been a strong suit in the Bush family. Or the rest of the GOTP.

Someday I hope Americans will not believe that anyone had to spend his or her days fighting for limited government because everyone they know wants maximum freedom and minimum statism.

Grover Norquist

It's easier to sell cotton candy than it is to sell broccoli to somebody, but the broccoli is better for you, and the same thing with a limited government.

Marco Rubio

I stand for limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal freedom, personal responsibility, so the Republican Party will support me.

Rick Scott

It's been painful to see the people that you love be attacked when you know it's not fair or true.

Jeb Bush

Leaders lead. They don't divide; they don't create a climate that is poisonous.

Jeb Bush

His grandfather Prescott Bush was a U.S. senator, and his father and brother were presidents. Yet Jeb Bush doesn't believe in political dynasties, and seems perfectly willing to let his family's legacy of serving in high office in Washington pass him by.

Mature society can empty government buildings of workers

Like other governmental conservatives, Governor Bush disliked and distrusted government and promoted the idea that smaller government--combined with more privatizing of governmental services--was more efficient government. He argued that "the most efficient, effective and dynamic government is one composed primarily of policymakers, procurement experts and contract managers." He expressed his general philosophy about government in his 2003 Inaugural Address when he stated that "There would be no greater tribute to our maturity as a society than if we make these [governmental] buildings around us empty of workers, monuments to a time when government played a larger role than it deserve or could adequately fill."
With this philosophy guiding his actions, Bush worked to diminish the credibility of government in Florida, to reduce its size and scope, and to make it more accountable to political overseers.
